A study on Financial Health of Indian Cement Industry: ‘Z’ – Score Approach"

The study verify validity of Altman’s Z score model and identify trend in top five cement industry India according to financial health. For this we are taking period years from 2008 2012 has been calculated using ratio analysis. It found that is appropriate predicator for current position industry. In context, Altman Z-score plays an important role judging the soundness company. present was conducted study, analyze compare conditions sample companies. on overall basis, revealed among all companies ACC cement, Ambuja Birla UltraTech were financially sound during period.
